From the point of view of Paul Mengert, AMG (Association Management Group) CEO and founder, Greensboro, North Carolina was a natural to host his firm, both because it serves as a touchstone to the city where he was born and raised, but also because his community is dedicated to education. Education is a central part of the life of the people of Greensboro. Paul believes his community gave him a lot and he wants to give back. He majored in Political Science and Communications at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro when he was young and he has since devoted much of his career to education and training. Even now, he teaches classes as part of a Management Development Program for Harvard Business School Alumni Association in the area.
To date, dozens of companies have sent executives to the Management Development Program, including Bank of America, Microsoft and even AMG. Paul Mengert's devotion to education and training puts him at the top. He has served as a member of the national senior faculty for the Community Associations Institute for many years and he still teaches classes about homeowner's associations that are used for continuing education credits by many diverse groups all over the country, from the the North Carolina Board of Realtors to the Florida Bureau of Condominiums to the California Department of Real Estate and many more.
